Veterinary Hospitals Association Hosts 11th Annual VHA Expo

SOUTH SAINT PAUL, MN - (September 20, 2016) - Veterinary Hospitals Association (VHA), the leading association for veterinary clinics in the Midwest, is hosting the 11th Annual VHA Expo on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 8:00-4:30pm at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest in Brooklyn Park, Minn. This one-day event is expected to be visited by nearly 300 veterinarians, practice managers, veterinary technicians, and staff and will be highlighting the newest products, services, and programs in the industry.

This event will be led by top industry speakers, including The Wild Institute's Chris Heeter. Heeter, a wilderness guide since 1982, will be drawing from her experience as a sled dog racer during her opening keynote, "Pulling in the Same Direction: Lessons Learned from the Back of a Dogsled". Additional speakers include:

  • Dr. Donnell Hansen, DVM, DAVDC, discussing advanced dental techniques;
  • Dr. Keum-Hwa Choi, DVM, Ph.D, providing an introduction and in-depth discussion on acupuncture;
  • and Kit Welchlin, professional speaker, discussing leadership strategies.
"The speaker and session lineup for 2016 is exceptional," says VHA Executive Director Jeff Benson, "Attendees can earn up to 6.6 continuing education credits and spend valuable time with industry partners who are making influential changes within veterinary care. It's an event veterinarians and their teams do not want to miss."
