We are seeking a full-time veterinary assistant to join our team; our assistants are an integral part of our team.  We are searching for a self-starter who has superb communication skills and who is motivated to learn all the technical aspects of the job and grow more into a technician.  Must have excellent computer skill and experience on a computer.  We are searching for someone who has had hands on experience with animals.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Cleaning and packing instruments
Preparing/stocking surgical suite/exam rooms
Assisting with discharges and client communication
Surgery prep and surgery recovery
Assisting technicians with restraint and patient monitoring
Taking patient histories
Answering phones and emails
Reception duties, scheduling appointments
Other duties as assigned
