Magnolia Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time or full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team.  We are privately owned and operated serving the Cannon Falls and surrounding areas since 2021. We offer a brand-new facility with full in-house Abaxxis laboratory suite, digital radiography and digital dental radiography.

This person must enjoy working independently and as a team, who likes variety, can work in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for caring for our clients and patients. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills, and a forward thinker.  New graduates are welcome to apply!

The Veterinary Assistant/Technician is responsible for

·       Excellent client and patient care

·       Accurate record management skills

·       Prepare and assist with surgical/dental and anesthetic procedures

·       Medical case work-up includes running bloodwork, fecal analysis and urinalysis

·       Patient handling and assistants

·       Pre-op and post-op surgery care

·       Instrument care

·       Point of contact and follow-up with clients

·       Schedule appointments

·       Check in and out clients and patients

Pay

$20.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience and certification
