At Kenwood Pet Clinic, our focus is on small animals, including exotic medicine, and we have a special interest in geriatrics and dentistry. Nestled in the lakes of Minnesota on Penn Avenue in Minneapolis, we offer soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, advanced dentistry, digital radiography, and in-hospital laboratory. As a team of veterinarians, we provide comprehensive treatment for a wide variety of both common and rare medical issues for our patients.
We are seeking a full-time (36-40 hours/week) Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Assistant to join our practice. Our ideal candidate is a fast learner, communicates well with others, and can prioritize and manage multiple assignments while maintaining a positive attitude.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Restraint
● Venipuncture/catheter placement
● Radiographs
● Answering phones and assisting clients
● Patient intake and discharge
● Administering medications and treatments to patients
● Client education
● Anesthetic induction and monitoring during surgical and dental procedures*
● Surgical preparation*
● Laboratory sample preparation*
*Veterinary Technician Duties only
Full-time benefits:
