The Bluffs Pet Clinic is seeking a receptionist to join our team. Qualities we value are communication, professionalism, ability to take initiative, reliability, and sense of humor, and of course a love of animals! Must be a people person and be able to smile!Â
Your responsibilities:
Greet clients and check in appointments
Answer phones (multiple lines)
Manage patient appointment schedules
Constantly communicate with clients, technicians, and veterinarians in person, on the phone, and online
Process invoices and payments
Various office and clerical tasks including email, faxing, stocking inventory, and scanning
Create a warm, inviting and welcoming environment for our clients and patients
Are able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
Are comfortable with computers and technology (including EMR)
Problem-solve and use critical thinking
Requirements:
Must have excellent computer skills and experience on a computer
Have 1+ years customer service experience, ideally front desk experience
Some experience or education in veterinary medicine. Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
Maintain professionalism in high-stress situations
Work well with others and can take direction well
