If you’d like to apply to be a MN SNAP Anesthesia Technician, please send a cover letter and resume to Program Director Christie Daluge at office@mnsnap.org.

Enjoy a rewarding career helping to keep pets with the people who love them; with competitive compensation, a generous holiday schedule, excellent health and retirement benefits, plus a $500 signing bonus.

Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program (MN SNAP) offers high-quality, affordable and accessible spay and neuter services to low-income communities, animal shelters, 501(c)(3) rescue organizations and community cat caretakers via a mobile surgery RV. Together with our stationary clinic in North Minneapolis, MN SNAP has subsidized more than 179,000 surgeries since April 2010. As a MN SNAP team member, you’ll have the opportunity to practice the different aspects of delivering high-quality surgery services to dogs, cats and rabbits.

The Anesthesia Technician is also responsible for performing brief physical exams on patients, and maintaining complete and accurate patient records and drug logs.

The candidate must be a certified veterinary technician or have equivalent experience. Additionally, the candidate must be detail oriented, a good communicator and someone who loves working with pets and their people!

MN SNAP seeks to create a diverse work culture that closely matches the diversity of our clients and community. To that end, Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and people who identify as LGBTQIA2S+ are encouraged to apply.

Benefits include:

•    Competitive compensation ($20-$21/hour starting wage)
