Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program (MN SNAP) offers high-quality, affordable and accessible spay and neuter services to low-income communities, animal shelters, 501(c)(3) rescue organizations and community cat caretakers. Together with our stationary clinic in North Minneapolis, MN SNAP has subsidized more than 179,000 surgeries since April 2010. As a MN SNAP team member, you’ll have the opportunity to practice the different aspects of delivering high-quality surgery services to dogs, cats and rabbits.
The Surgery Prep Technician administers inhalant anesthesia, prepares patients for surgery, and monitors patients in all stages of anesthesia. The Surgery Prep Technician is also responsible for performing limited physical exams on patients.
The candidate must be a certified veterinary technician or have equivalent experience. Additionally, the candidate must be detail oriented, a good communicator and someone who loves working with pets and their people!
