Description:

Basic qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited veterinary program or experience as a veterinary assistant
  • Team focused
  • Upbeat and adaptable with a positive attitude
  • Excellent client communication skills
  • Integrity with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Able to lift up-to 50 pounds

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Restraint
  • Venipuncture/catheter placement
  • Anesthetic induction and monitoring during surgical and dental procedures
  • Radiographs
  • Answering phones and assisting clients
  • Patient intake and discharge
  • Client education
  • Laboratory sample preparation

Full-time benefits include:
