You may register additional DVM owners, associate DVMs, and practice managers in one registration, and your account will only be invoiced for the appropriate amount (example: one DVM practice owner and their guest who is a practice manager will be invoiced $200.00.)

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Melissa DeLay: Melissa is the award-winning founder and principal owner of TruPerception. With nearly two decades of strategic and corporate communication experience, including consulting for entities such as Ameriprise Financial and the State of Minnesota, as well as holding senior positions with 3M, Carlson Companies, and Maytag, she knows how to deliver the right words in the right way to drive change, manage crises, boost engagement, and build a stronger brand.


Bash Halow, CVPM, LVT: Bash is a graduate of the College of William and Mary, a certified veterinary practice manager, and a licensed veterinary technician. As a veterinary business advisor and a veteran practice manager with more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Halow has helped dozens of veterinary hospitals understand how to build stronger teams and responsibly and ethically grow their businesses. He is a frequent contributor to Veterinary Economics and DVM 360 and is a member of the editorial advisory board for the FetchDVM360 veterinary conferences. He is a regular speaker at the annual VPMA Conference in Wales and addressed the Veterinary Management Association at the House of Lords, London, in June 2018. He is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, the PVMA, founder and member of the New Jersey Veterinary Hospital Management Association, founder of the Big Apple Veterinary Management Association in New York City, and a proud member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. Mr. Halow was the 2013 recipient of the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association’s President’s Award for management education in the state of Pennsylvania. He resides in New York City and has a farm in Pennsylvania that provides all kinds of heartaches and happiness.

CE CREDITS

This program has been approved for six hours of non-medical continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval.

REGISTRATION

Registration closes August 5, 2022 at 12:00pm. Due to resort rules and restrictions, no registrations or refund requests will be accepted after this date.

PAYMENT

Clinics will be invoiced once registration is submitted.


In the event of cancellations, attendees may receive 100% refund through August 5, 2022. After August 5th, no refunds will be given.

COVID-19

Safety precautions are being implemented in to ensure the safety of our attendees. We are working closely with Madden's Resort to maximize safety procedures.

By completing the registration process, I agree to:

  • Abide by the venue and VHA's rules
  • Assume all risks of attending an in-person event, including the potential risk of becoming infected with COVID-19
  • Follow guidance from local health authorities, for everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses, including:
    • Washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or an alcohol-based sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
    • Avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
    • Covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing. Throw used tissues in the trash.
  • Adhere to social distance protocols put in place by VHA or the event venue and respect others' personal space, if required
  • Notify a VHA team member if you wake up feeling unwell during the event.
  • Please do not attend if you are feeling any of the following:
    • Fever
    • Chills
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • Loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
