2018 VHA Fall Owner's Economic Summit

With student debt being a major concern for many in the veterinary industry, graduating and recently graduated DVMs believe that the opportunity to become veterinary practice owners may not be a realistic option for them. For practice owners planning their exit strategies, this is very concerning.

Register to attend the 2018 VHA Fall Owner's Economic Summit September 16-17 at Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria, MN. Learn about the state of the industry as it pertains to corporate vs. independent ownership and strategies DVMs can utilize to achieve their ownership goals.

The event is free to attend for the first 100 registered DVM VHA clinic owners and only $100 for the clinic owner's guest. If the clinic owners guest is also a registered DVM clinic owner, there is no fee. Each registered clinic owner is invited to bring one guest. The guest fee does not include any additional rooms or leisure activities. After the initial 100 spots are filled, registration will increase to $141.15-$195.79 (depending on single or double occupancy hotel room) for the clinic owner and $100 for the clinic owner's guest.

Room Rates

Lodging is included for the first 100 registered clinic owners. If an additional room is needed for your guest, the guest fee is $195.79 instead of $100.00.

If you are interested in extending your stay at the resort, you will need to contact them directly to make your reservation.

Leisure Activities

One complimentary leisure activity per clinic owner is included; guest's leisure activities can be scheduled for an extra fee. If your guest is also a clinic owner, there will be no charge for their leisure activity. Any additional fees will be included on final invoice prior to the event. Registration is on a first come, first served basis with priority given to clinic owners. Once the free spaces for a leisure activity are filled, additional doctors and guests may register for an additional fee.

Owners may sign up for one leisure activity or one leisure activity and Grape Stomp, but not two leisure activities. Please be aware that the Golf Tournament is an all-day leisure activity as it is 18 holes, so those registering for golf will not have time to attend the Grape Stomp as that event is open 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Leisure activities include:

- Golf Tournament, Sponsored by US Bank: 1 foursome every 8 minutes starting at 11:00 am. Open to both owners and guests. Guest fee is $35.00 and includes 18 holes and cart.
