The world is much different today than it was a month ago, and we will continue to experience tumultuous change as we move through the COVID-19 pandemic. While we adjust to the changes, there is still much to celebrate and observe throughout April. However, we encourage you to use your best judgment and adjust as needed as news breaks and information becomes available.

Below are additional suggested social media posts for veterinary clinics this month. To use the posts on your page, copy and paste the text into your post. COVID 19 Veterinary Clinic Resources

One of the most frequent questions we are asked from other veterinarians is, "What are other clinics doing?" The list below has been compiled based on comments from actual veterinary team members and what they are doing during COVID-19. We will continue to update this as frequently as we can with new ideas and suggestions.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact VHA Business Services at bservices@veterinaryha.org.

These ideas and recommendations are compiled from veterinary clinic team members and have not been created by VHA. They are not necessarily endorsed for all clinics. Please refer your respective state's Board of Veterinary Medicine website for the most up-to-date list of recommendations and requirements.

COVID-19: Veterinary Clinic Updates

VHA and MVMA are compiling a list of resources for practitioners who may need to temporarily close because of quarantine issues with their staff, family, or community. The most important of these seems to be the designation of clinics willing to take on-call for other clinics temporarily forced to shut down.

We are hopeful that these resources will not be necessary for the majority of clinics, but we have received feedback from our membership that having a system like this set up ahead of time removes one thing from their plate as they plan ahead for the next several months. Please complete the form below if you are willing and able to take calls for other practices or are in need of support like this. Clinics may contact one another directly to facilitate the agreement.

Please note that many of the questions are open-ended, so we ask that you be as descriptive as possible. Once you click submit, your information will be sent to VHA, and a team member will compile your information into the database below the form.
