SOUTH SAINT PAUL, MN – (June 15, 2020) – Veterinary Hospitals Association (VHA), the leading association for veterinary practices in the Midwest, has partnered with CBIZ, Inc. to bring new benefits solutions for veterinary clinics.

Members of VHA will now have access to CBIZ’s Convenient Care Plus, a direct primary care health access program in which employees will have access to affordable basic primary care, generic prescription drug programs, no copay/no-cost telehealth services, and more.

In addition to the Convenient Care Plus program, employees will also have access to the VHA Community Marketplace, a one-stop-shop to access supplemental benefits like employee perks, financial calculators, symptom checkers, and more.

“Clinic owners are constantly searching for ways to attract and retain employees,” explains Jeff Benson, VHA Executive Director. “Providing an attractive, low-cost benefits program with support from CBIZ offers a solution for owners and greater care for all employees.”

"This new program gives vet clinics and their staff an alternative to traditional health insurance by providing members with an easy-to-use and affordable benefit for office visits and generic medications," states Dennis Polzin, CBIZ Employee Benefits Senior Producer. "Innovative technology and top-line service work together to reduce the administrative burden of employee benefits so clinic owners and practice managers can focus on running the clinic."
