"Solve Your Doctor Shortage with Strategically Scheduled Exams" by Wendy Myers
You’ve been trying to hire a veterinarian for months. You’re working extra hours (including Saturdays) to cover the demand, and you’re exhausted. Unemployment for veterinarians is just 1 percent. While you’re searching for an amazing veterinarian, let’s fix your temporary doctor shortage with strategically scheduled exams. You’ll see more patients per hour and stop the endless fatigue.
1:45 pm - 2:30 pm "Anticipating Resistance to Change and How Best to Move Your Team Forward on Your Strategic Goals" by Dr. John Cary

Every clinic has experienced that challenge with change and moving the team forward on new initiatives. Think about new protocols for screening patients, the implementation of wellness plans, adding a new doctor to the practice, promoting team members to new responsibility; in all these situations you can recall the promotors, potential promotors, opponents, and hidden opponents.

National Pet Dental Health Month CatNational Pet Dental Health Month DogHappy February! Today marks the start of National Pet Dental Health Month, a great opportunity to feature the services you provide to keep your patient’s pearly whites healthy. Consider putting together images of patient’s teeth before and after a dental cleaning and sharing them on social media. You could also craft a blog post explaining the importance of dental health for pets and detail what an appointment looks like at your clinic. Go live on Facebook with a DVM explaining the dental appointment process – either before an appointment or during an appointment (with pet owner permission, of course). If you are running a promotion during the month, highlight that across social media, on your website, in your “on hold” music, or even putting a little bit of money in advertising it on Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
