As the end of the year (and decade) draws to a close, it's time to plan out the next years fresh, fun, and exciting marketing campaigns. Veterinary team members wear many different hats, so researching the upcoming fun holiday and observances to plan your campaigns around can be challenging. Veterinary Hospitals Association has put together its 2020 Social Media Marketing Calendar for Veterinary Clinics. It's an all-in-one calendar with holidays and observances applicable for veterinary clinics, along with suggested social media activation ideas each month!
It’s December and 2019 is nearing its end. Take this month to celebrate your patients, clients, and team, sharing the successes throughout the year. Thank your clients for trusting their pet’s care to you, and (with owner permission) reveal happy ending stories of patients who overcame illness or injury. But don’t forget to also take a moment to remember the pets who crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2019. Offer an opportunity for clients to share their photos in the comments of a dedicated post in their memory.
Also, don’t forget to remind pet owners to give their pets their monthly preventatives!
Happy November! The holidays are nearly here, and the end of the year isn’t too far behind. Yet there is still plenty to be shared with your veterinary clinic’s social media fans. Just don’t forget to update your social media pages, Google Business Listing, and website with updated business hours for Thanksgiving!
Below are additional suggested social media posts for veterinary clinics this month. To use the posts on your page, copy and paste the text into your post. To save the image, first click it, then right-click on the enlarged image and select “Save As.”
