We have a great opportunity for a Certified Veterinary Technician that is looking to practice medicine in an exceptional clinic in the North Loop, Downtown Minneapolis
We are walk-in model clinic that provides affordable emergency-type medicine on an out-patient basis. This emergency-type environment requires your technician skills to be utilized to their fullest extent. Every day has a level of variability with no two cases alike. We help families by ensuring their needs and their pet’s needs are equally considered in a pet’s care plan. We believe in delivering high-quality veterinary medical care by reducing barriers to receiving excellent care, whether it’s cost, location or simply when we’re open.
The ideal DVM for this position will be eager to help all our clients, regardless of financial resources and will be able to support the goals of the clients. As one of our licensed veterinarians, you are the core of the clinical team at Modern Love Veterinary Care. You’ll be responsible for seeing wellness appointments, performing basic dental procedures, laboratory diagnostics, assisting with surgery, and assisting our veterinarians. Our fast-paced environment will fully utilize your skills, with lots of opportunity for continued growth and development.
Education:
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (current DVM required)
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Actively engage in learning new skills
• Able to learn software systems (including electronic medical records systems)
• Problem solving skills.
Preferred: • Bi- or Multi-lingual (English/Spanish preferred)
