As a Veterinary Assistant, your role in the hospital involves a lot of client interaction, communication and education as you will be taking patient history, preparing necessary items for the outpatient visit and following up with recommendations made by the DVM. All Minnehaha Animal Hospital staff are Fear Free Certified Professionals and work to create a client and patient experience that is positive and low stress. With this knowledge we practice low stress restraint techniques.
Experience in the veterinary industry is preferred although not required. Minimum requirements of the candidate:
We have a FULL TIME position (32-35 hours/week) available. Hospital hours are Mon – Fri 7:30am- 6 pm. No Saturdays!
