Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support related to pet care and veterinary services. Your knowledge of animal care and handling will be essential in assisting customers with their inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain proper legal medical records
  • Provide information about services offered, including vaccinations, parasite prevention, pre- and post-op directions, and other client education.
  • Assist customers in scheduling appointments for veterinary services.
  • Checking in patient and clients, obtaining pertinent information, and relaying it to the team.
  • Discharge patients, dispense medications, and relay after care instructions.
  • Uphold a clean and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Computer literacy is vital for this role.
  • General familiarity of animal anatomy, common diseases, frequently used medications or preventives, medical terminology and record keeping, and other veterinary related knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and think quickly while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns efficiently.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with your teammates.
