Additional Time Commitment Info: We take our own emergencies and we are open on Saturday mornings from 8am to Noon. If the student wants to come in for emergency calls and work on Saturday mornings, they are welcome to join us--we don't require it, though. They will have plenty of time for after hours and weekend work when they officially start their careers! Our regular hours are Monday-Friday: 7:30am-5:30pm and Saturday 8am to Noon.
What You Bring: Our doctors wear khaki pants, polo shirts with our clinic logo, and colored smocks. We have learned from previous students our patients (particularly the canine patients) are intimidated by white coats, so we prefer the student avoid wearing white lab coats or smocks.

Our support staff is extremely caring and dedicated and our clientele is loyal and appreciative. Our appointments are not rushed. Our clients really appreciate the amount of time we spend with them and their pets to reach a diagnosis and thoroughly explain the treatment course and prognosis. The atmosphere at Krichel Animal Hospital is collaborative and friendly. The doctors routinely consult each other and work together to diagnose and treat difficult cases.
