“Winston (Winnie) aka Winnie Bear aka Winston Bishop Kueraco, etc, was a chunky food motivated boy. He napped almost 20 hours a day, and the other 4 hours was spent eating, pooping, and chasing shadows. He was patient, calm, goofy, and brave. He was found outside and brought into our home on an impulse, and there was never a regret. He had one bad eye, possible skin infection, and nails that would grow so fast they’d stick in his paw. But he wore his shirts and cones with style. His brother Bailen loved to play fight with him, and Winnie always let him win because Bailen is older. Now Winnie is with some other honorary siblings in heaven, eating all the food, and grooming himself freely with no shirt or cone. Chin scratches, toe beans, long curly fur. He’s bathing in the sun from the window and cuddling his squirrel toy. Thank you, Winnie for being here with Mommy. We have matching birthmarks on our cheeks. You are my soul. A piece of me. Thank you for filling a hole in Dad’s heart and being there when I needed you most, and letting me be here for you too. We can hear your “prrrrooouuuh” for breakfast, and your heavy footsteps headed our way at the exact strike of 10pm for dinner. Our Golden boy. Winnie the Pooh Bear 💛”
Winnie is remembered by his family and loving companions, Angelica and Jill.
